Over the past two years, we have been focused on expanding our product range to meet the requirements of environmentally friendly electric vehicles. We have introduced a range of electric vehicle chargers to the market and offer market-leading software to support this technology.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced electronic engineer to join our team and help us develop the next generation of electric vehicle chargers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new charger products, as well as working with our software team to integrate our chargers with our software platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control boards for AC (now) and DC (later) electric vehicle charging stations
• Create multilayer PCB and circuit designs for EV charging stations
• Research and evaluate alternative components to optimize the bill of materials (BOM) in terms of price and availability
• Adapt PCB and circuit designs to accommodate alternative components and microcontrollers
• Collaborate with firmware and embedded developers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software
• Perform EMC and safety pre-evaluations and adapt PCB designs based on measurement results
• Implement customer requirements into the design and development of EV charging stations

Requirements:

• Good English skills

• Completed studies as an electronic engineer

• Experience in pcb / circuit design

• Experience in EMC and safety measurements and interpreting the results

• in-depth knowledge of components, data sheets and specifications

• Software to use: Altium

• Organized and structured way of working

• Goal oriented

• Fulltime, ca. 40h/week

• 100% Remote

• Working hours are flexible, but there will be several meetings per week that must be attended

• Long-term employment

• No work may be performed for other employers, LRT is the only employer allowed to work for during the contract period.
