Laboratory Technician for chemical and mechanical analysis and testing

Leading chemical and composition analysis on raw materials and components with the scope of: controlling the incoming materials, benchmarking suppliers' and competitors' materials. Composition analysis of raw materials for innovation purposes. Mechanical, thermal, electrical measurements of sample materials according to international standards.
Production and execution of design validation plans for components and products. Collaboration with external labs to perform analysis and validation. Reporting activities to colleagues and customers.

Technical Skills:

Main plastics analysis methodologies (IR spectroscopy, DSC, TGA, GC, ...)

- Polymer extrusion and injection manufacturing technology

- Metal composition analysis

- Mechanical characterization equipment: tensile machines, impactor, ...

- Validation procedures and equipment for automotive and related fixtures: i.e. vibration test bench, climatic chambers, circulation ovens

- Laboratory measurements: pressure and pressure drop, flow rates, temperature, electrical proeprties, ...Palnning lab equipment
